Husky TE510 Centennial
The Husqvarna 510 was first born twenty years ago but Husqvarna started producing motorcycles a whole century ago. The European manufacturer has celebrated their centenary in numerous ways this year but the ultimate expression comes in the shape of the new TE510 Centennial.

The standard TE510 retails for around £6500, but the special ‘Centennial’ model comes in at a very hefty £16,500! No that's not a misprint, this is an Italian built enduro motorcycle with the price tag of an Italian thoroughbred road going sportsbike.

Those lucky enough to get one of the hundred that have been produced will take great pride in having a truly exceptional motorcycle as pride of place in their garage.

Carbon Fibre bodywork graces the flanks of the prestigious machine and is fixed with red anodized Ergal screws. The rear Subframe has a carbon-fibre lower, non-slip top cover and is mounted with titanium screws. Carbon Fibre is also used in the cylinder head cover, clutch guard cover, ignition cover, oil filter cover, guard cover, engine guard and side guards.

Massive 50mm Marzocchi inverted forks are finished with the chromium-plate TIN coating as found on the factory racers. The sliders are CNC machined from a solid billet. The triple clamps and Tomaselli handlebars are forged from a solid aluminium ingot while titanium is used for the nuts and bolts. The pegs are made of precision cast titanium, as is the header and muffler.

Sachs provides the fully adjustable shock which is the same as used by the Factory Husqvarna Race Team complete with the extra large side reservoir.

Holding 10.5 litres the fuel tank is made of brushed aluminium with the sides polished to a mirror finish. Marking the exclusivity of the bike is a rhodium treated silver plate fixed to the tank stamped with the build number out of 100. The fuel cap is CNC machined from billet while the rear brake lever and gear lever are anodized and polished.
