James Toseland. Handy biker, singer, pianist and all round nice bloke. Coming soon to a PC near you...

The search is on for the Beethoven of the motor biking world as 'biker-conductor' James Toseland launches his nationwide search to find the finest revving talent the UK has to offer for his quest to create the UK's first ever bike orchestra.

Whether track bike, sports bike, chopper or scooter, auditions for the bike orchestra are open to all bikers. The final bike orchestra will perform and record a bespoke piece of music, with the first performance at the curtain-raising event of the British Superbikes season.

The 'Rev For A Reason' campaign is designed to raise awareness of bikers and to reduce the number of motorcycle accidents on UK roads. According to government research, whilst bikes only represent 1% of road traffic, they account for one in five fatalities on the road.

It's is hoped by making a big noise - literally - drivers will think twice when they are on the road and:

- Look twice for that biker
- Realise that bikers are generally law-abiding, normal men and women who want to get from A to B as safely as possible, just like them
- When they see a biker, give them the time and space that they would afford to a car driver
- Remember that bikers go over the same potholes and bumps that you do - but are only on two wheels, not four!

It's a noble cause, so come along and join the piano playing World Superbike Champion James Toseland and composer Stephen Montague as they talk about their plan for one rev of a party.
